There’s no question: If you’re a winter sports enthusiast and want to experience some of the best slopes in the Alps, then you’re in the right place here in St. Lorenzen. Our holiday resort lies at the foot of the Kronplatz ski carousel. At 2,275 m, Kronplatz is South Tyrol’s no. 1 ski mountain. And best of all: It’s just 10 km from our holiday home to the modern lift systems, of which there are 31. As our guest, you therefore spend your winter holiday at Kronplatz in the front row!
360° winter fun in the Puster Valley in South Tyrol
Gently sloping and in many places nearly treeless, Kronplatz is the ideal ski area. A total of 114 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes of all degrees of difficulty—from children’s slides to steep slopes—are available to you. Snowboarders also get their money’s worth. The “Big Five” black slopes are legendary. During a winter holiday at Kronplatz, slope foxes and ski bunnies are spoiled for choice regarding which challenge should cap off another day. Take a quiet break once during your fun on the slopes – because you can enjoy a magnificent 360° panoramic view from the peak of Kronplatz and visit the Messner Mountain Museum, which was built in this prominent location and is dedicated to traditional alpinism.
